Meet Dr. Doumite

Darin Doumite, MD General Surgeon
Darin Doumite, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained general surgeon with Lake Charles Memorial Health System.
Dr. Doumite received his bachelors from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree from St. Matthews University. His postgraduate training includes an internship and residency in general surgery both at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport.
He specializes in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries, which has allowed his patients to recover with less pain and a quicker return to activity/work. His specialties include:
- Advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures
- Complex hernia repairs
- Gallbladder disease
- Gastric and colorectal cancer
